If you should decide that you require more than one trash or recycle cart, you may call the Utility Billing Department at 972-838-2035 to order a second trash cart. You will be charged a nominal fee for each additional trash or recycle cart.

How Do I - Request
The City of Melissa designated the City Hall Community Room as a meeting space for educational, cultural, and philanthropic activities supporting the Melissa community. Under the guidelines established in policy, community organizations may request the use of the Community Room for meetings.
To reserve the space, all users must create an account in the City’s online reservation system: cityofmelissa.recdesk.com/Community/Home. Once logged in, you may submit your reservation request.
Please note: A reservation is not confirmed until the required payment has been submitted through the online system.
City staff will review all reservation requests within 48 business hours. You will be notified if your request is approved or if additional information is needed.

How Do I - Request
You may request a copy of a crash/accident report online using the Crash Report Online Purchase System. You can search for and purchase Certified copies of your Texas Peace Officer’s Crash Report (CR-3) through this website. Reminder, accident/crash reports are not available until 3 to 10 days after the accident occurred. The cost for an uncertified electronic copy of a Texas Peace Officer’s crash report is $6 and $8 for a certified electronic copy.

How Do I - Request
Current residential or commercial customers of the City may request an adjustment to any water bill from the City for extra water used due to damage or an identified leak that has been repaired. Requests should be submitted on the Leak Adjustment Application and must include proof of repair. Applications must be received by the City within 30 days of the repair of the leak. The City will only make an adjustment to the most recent bill affected by the repaired leak; multi-month adjustments will not be made. Learn more about the Leak Adjustment process.

The Vacation House Watch program is a program provided by the Melissa Police Department designed to give peace of mind to Melissa residents while they are away from home for extended periods of time. Employees of the Melissa Police Department will physically check each registered house during a resident’s absence. To request entry into the House Watch program, please complete the form provided on the House Watch Request page.
Please allow up to three days for your request to be processed. If you need a last-minute house watch, please call 972-838-2033.

Each of our City Parks offers facilities that are available to the community to enjoy and can be reserved for private gatherings. Visit Park Reservations for details including guidelines and usage fees and deposits. You may also email Parks and Recreation with any questions you may have about availability. Reservations and/or confirmation of availability cannot be done outside of business hours and we ask that you do not solicit this information through the City’s social media channels.

Online Payments Portal/Phone Payments
The City of Melissa residents are encouraged to create an account at Municipal Online Payments. The online utility billing application gives customers access to their accounts 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, and is optimized for use on mobile devices.
Also, a new interactive voice response line will accept telephone payments at 866-261-7377.

Solid Waste Services
The City of Melissa contracts Solid Waste and Recycling services with Community Waste Disposal (CWD). For questions regarding Solid Waste & Recycling, including missed pickups and to schedule household hazardous waste pickup, contact CWD directly at (972) 392-9300/Option 2 or email CWD.
