Multifamily Inspection Program

With the continued growth and development within the City of Melissa, a multifamily inspection program is designed to ensure safety and compliance in multifamily rental properties.

The program requires all existing and new multifamily rental properties to register with the City. This includes apartment buildings, duplexes, townhomes (not individually platted), and build-to-rent communities with two or more units. Annual inspections will be conducted by the City's partner, SAFEbuilt, on all multifamily units that are three years or older.
