We encourage you to try your cart for a few weeks before ordering a second cart. If you should decide that you require more than one trash cart, you may call the Utility Billing Department at 972-838-2035 to order a second trash cart. You will be charged a nominal fee for each additional trash and recycling cart.

All trash and recycling carts need to be out by 7:00 a.m. on your respective day of every week. In the event of a holiday, your trash will be picked up one day later. If you do not know your service day please check the collection map below.
Please ensure the trash and recycle carts are separated by at least three (3) feet, and are also three (30 feet away from obstacles such as mailboxes, cars, fences, gas meters, and drainage ditches. Carts should be placed on the curb with the wheels toward the residence. Cart lids must be completely closed.
Community Waste Disposal (CWD) observes six main holidays that may impact your regularly scheduled bulk pickup date. Those holidays are the same that can impact your regular trash/recycle pickups and are:
In the event one of these holidays falls on your trash/recycling pickup day, service will be delayed by one day. In the event that occurs, your regular bulk pickup would also then be delayed by one-day and would now be on the Saturday of your week.
