What is Family Place?

Family Place provides opportunities to:

  • Play with your child without interruption or distraction
  • Allow your child to play with a variety of toys, instruments and art
  • Talk with professionals in children's health and development
  • Discover parent resources for checkout.
  • Check out the Melissa Public Library page on the Family Place website!

Family Place is a 5-week program beginning in April that will meet once a week on Thursdays at 10:30 am. Children must be ages 0 to 5 years, preferably infants to age 3. Class size is limited to 10 children. Register at the front desk! Contact Jennifer Nehls by email for information.

Attention Professionals...

Do you have knowledge and experience providing expertise to preschool children and parents in the areas of: health, speech, hearing and language development, child development, nutrition, music and movement and general parenting? If so, please join us as a community resource professional for this new program!
