We do however encourage all interested teens to come out and join in with our new Homeschool Hangout groups that meet during the daytime during break!
Homeschool Hangout!Ages 6 -18 meet EACH WEDNESDAY 2:00-3:00 p.m. in the Library. Open to traditional students during school breaks as well! Learn more about the fun we have planned!

Teen Next Chapter Book Club
The Melissa Public Library is proud to offer this club for our community members called the Teen Next Chapter Book Club. It is part of a national program that is geared towards individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and our program will be targeting to teenagers specifically. This is not a teaching program, but rather a fun way to socialize and read some great stories! For more information, visit http://nextchapterbookclub.org/.
If you or a teenage family member or friend could benefit from a weekly social club, we would love to hear from you! We are looking for feedback to help set primary meeting days and times so be sure to stop by the Library or contact Jennifer Nehls for more information or questions and to share your preferred meeting day and times.
*Note activities are subject to change, so if you have any questions please contact Jennifer Nehls for more information.
