The Vacation House Watch program is a program provided by the Melissa Police Department designed to give peace of mind to Melissa residents while they are away from home for extended periods of time. Employees of the Melissa Police Department will physically check each registered house during a resident's absence. Information provided by the resident makes it possible to contact them, or their designated key holder, in the event that the residence may need attention. The Vacation House Watch Program provides an overall increase in police presence around homes during a resident’s time away.
To request entry into the House Watch program, please complete and submit the form below, provided as PDF via fax or in person. If you would like you may also email your House Watch request to Officer Brandi Davidson.
Please allow up to three days for your request to be processed. If you need a last-minute house watch, please call (972) 838-2033.
