Deferred Disposition

Deferred disposition is a form of probation that may result in the dismissal of your citation.

You may not be eligible for a deferred disposition if the following applies:

  • You are currently on probation to have a citation dismissed
  • You have a commercial drivers license,
  • You are charged with a violation in a construction or maintenance work zone when workers are present, or
  • You were traveling 25 miles or more over the posted speed limit
To request a deferred disposition, you must submit the following to the court clerks:

Requests for deferred disposition may be made in person at the court clerk’s office or by mail on or before your court date. (This date is located at the bottom right corner of your ticket)
