Sealed bids will be received by the City of Melissa, Texas, 75454, no later than 2:00 PM, Thursday, June 1, 2023, for furnishing complete labor and materials and performing Work for the following project: 1811 GRAHAM LANE RENOVATIONS, 1811 Graham Lane, Melissa, Texas 75454, consisting of 2830 sf Building A (Renovation Area = 918 sf) and 2403 sf Building B (Renovation Area = 595 sf) as well as site construction elements in accordance with the Bid Documents prepared by Wright Group Architects-Planners, PLLC, 1430 S. Broadway Street, Carrollton, Texas 75006, 972-242-1015.

Contact the Architect to obtain copies of Bid Documents. A Pre-Bid Conference will be held at Building A, 1811 Graham Lane, Melissa, Texas 75454, at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, May 9, 2023, to address questions and provide an opportunity to view the scope of the work prior to submitting final bids.

Sealed bids must be submitted to the City Secretary’s Office, 3411 Barker Avenue, Melissa, Texas 75454 no later than 2:00 PM on June 1, 2023. Bids shall be identified on the outside of the envelope with the following: “Bid for 1811 GRAHAM LANE RENOVATIONS, City of Melissa, Texas”. Bids received after bid closing will be returned unopened. All bids received prior to the closing of the bid period will be publicly opened and read aloud at the City of Melissa City Hall, 3411 Barker Avenue, Melissa, Texas 75454 beginning at 2:02 PM on June 1, 2023. Following bid opening, tabulation will be made for consideration of the City of Melissa in awarding a contract.

The Mayor and the City Council of Melissa, Texas reserve the right, as the interest of the City may require, to reject any and all bids, and to waive any informality in bids received. No officer or employee of the City of Melissa shall have a financial interest, direct or indirect, in any contract with the City of Melissa.
