Mission of the Department of Public Works
The mission of the Department of Public Works is to provide
outstanding public services for the citizens of Melissa, our visitors and our
neighboring subdivisions while maintaining a superior infrastructure,
guaranteeing a clean and safe environment as well as sustaining a high quality
of life.

Overview
The City of Melissa Department of Public Works is divided into
two areas: Water & Wastewater and
Solid Waste. Our dedictaed employees see to
it that facilities and equipment for City agencies are maintained, that high
quality water is available to the City of Melissa, and that residential refuse
is collected and public areas are kept clean.
