Household Hazardous Waste Disposal Program Now Available
The City of Melissa has partnered with the City of Frisco to bring this service to our residential utility customers and beginning the week of April 6, customers may request a voucher from the City of Melissa’s Utility Billing Department to take to Frisco’s Environmental Collection Center to dispose of common household hazardous wastes. Vouchers for most types of approved hazardous waste are FREE to residential utility customers, with a minimal charge for certain e-waste items.  Learn more here.

Early Voting Begins Monday, April 27
Early Voting for the May 9, 2015 General and Special Election is now underway at the Melissa City Hall in the Courtroom and will run from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. through Tuesday, May 2nd and 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on May 4th and 5th.  As in past elections, you may also vote at qualified vote centers throughout Collin County - check out this PDF provided by Collin County Elections for all other early voting locations.  Click here for all other election related information including sample ballot.
