Finance

The City of Melissa Finance Department is responsible for the management of the City's financial affairs, the Accounting & Payables, Revenue Collections, Payroll Processing, Capital Improvement Project Tracking, Budget Preparation and Auditing. 

Our commitment in all accounting and finance functions is to manage the City's resources in an efficient, effective, and responsible manner.  We received the Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA) Distinguished Budget Presentation Award for 2008-09 in that effort to report responsibly and thoroughly.  Our City Council has also adopted Financial Policies that our budget and services are built upon.
