Code Enforcement

Code enforcement monitors compliance with the City of Melissa's ordinances.  Code enforcement strives to promote and protect the health, safety, and welfare of all citizens.

Citizens may report a violation of City code by calling (972) 838-1081, if the Code Enforcement officer is not available, please leave a detailed message.  Concerns may also be submitted via e-mail to Gail Gnader.  Please include a complete street address, the type of complaint (i.e. high grass/weeds, illegal dumping) along with any other information that may be helpful to the Code Enforcement Officer.
