Stage 3 Water Restrictions
North Texas Municipal Water District to continue Stage 3 water restrictions
The City of Melissa’s water supplier, North Texas Municipal Water District’s (NTMWD) Board of Directors have approved continuation of Stage 3 landscape watering of once every two weeks for the month of April 2014.  The limitation of landscape watering to once every two weeks will continue with subsequent monthly extensions considered by the Board. Oncor Service Interuption Notice Tag
Oncor Electric Service Interruption Friday
This Friday, April 18th beginning at 9:00 a.m. Oncor Electric Delivery will be upgrading facilities with outages anticipated to last between 4-6 hours.  A map of the general area affected is provided - City Hall, Melissa High School and football stadium, and some neighborhoods to the south of City Hall and east of the High School are included.  Please note Villages of Melissa WILL NOT be affected.  As a reminder the City of Melissa offices and Melissa Public Library will be CLOSED in observance of Good Friday.  If you need to contact the Police Department as of Thursday night, please call the Collin County Dispatch at (972) 547-5350.  Click on the header for additional information.
